DETAILS:
I make every single seam with my own hands – without the use of a sewing machine, – with a special sturdy hand-seam and solid thread. This, in fact, makes a doll more durable, since a handmade seam is stronger than that of a sewing machine.
A special Waldorf technique is used to form the doll’s head, which allows it to keep its shape even during washing.
I create my Sleeping Dolls in soft colors with their eyes closed to tune a child to a good night sleep.
MATERIALS:
Her eyes, mouth and hair are embroidered with German cotton mouline thread. Her face is made of a special puppet-doll knitwear from the Netherlands. Her hand-knitted elf-like hat is made of natural Italian yarn and it is sewn directly to her head and cannot be removed.
The materials I choose for my dolls are all natural, of the highest quality, and completely child-safe. The combination of different textures exposes your child to various tactile impressions and helps develop his or her tactile sense.
For my sleeping Waldorf baby dolls I use the softest and the most delicate velour It lulls babies to sleep and gives them a feeling of calmness and mom’s soft skin.
While making my dolls, I fill them with love and warmth for every child.

The doll is precious!! Alina was super to work with. She customized my doll really quickly. However I didn’t receive it on time. Customs are not predictable, unfortunately. This doll is so precious. I fell in love with her when I first saw her in the shop. She’s like a faerie, or elf… such magical energy. And so exquisitely made: the embroidery and everything about her is just beautiful. I made her a little bed in a basket with a hand-sewn “mattress”” and knitted blanket and gave her to my granddaughter for her first birthday “
